French
Autunite!
A friend showed me a lot of
old French autunites, and I could not turn it down. These specimens come
from the collection of Jean Chervet (chervetite) a French mineralogist who specialized
in French uranium deposits. He passed away in 1962, which should give some
indication of the age of these specimens.
Some of these have been
stabilized, this is necessary for most autunite specimens.
I would greatly prefer to
ship these within the USA, but if you wish to assume the risk, I will ship them
internationally. I have never actually had a problem shipping this sort of
specimen internationally, but I have heard horror stories from other collectors,
so I felt this necessary to mention.
