How to Order

You want to order a specimen, so what next?  Just send me an e-mail at ijameel@khyberminerals.com with the description and stock number, and I'll contact you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.

DOMESTIC ORDERS: Be sure to include your name, address, and phone number, along with any special instructions you may have for shipping the item.  You can pay through PayPal, with a money order, or a personal/cashier's check.  Specimens will usually be shipped within 48 hours of receiving a money order or PayPal payment, and within 48 hours of the clearing of a check (which usually takes 10 days).

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: International customers can pay through PayPal, Money Gram, or Western Union. 

Reserving Specimens

To reserve a specimen, send me an e-mail with the stock number and description telling me that you want to reserve it, and I'll hold it for up to 7 days.  After 7 days it will once again be available to other customers.


DOMESTIC SHIPPING: Packages sent within the US are sent through USPS, as insured Priority Mail, unless otherwise specified.  Most shipments will cost about $5-15; however, for larger specimens, shipping may cost more.  Other services, such as  FedEx are available upon request, at additional cost to the buyer.

We recommend that you opt for insurance, as we will not be held responsible for lost packages when insurance has not been purchased.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:  Packages to our international customers are shipped through USPS Priority International or First Class Air Mail.  I have found this method to be cost effective and reliable, however other services, such as  Express Mail and FedEx can be used at additional cost

We recommend that you opt for insurance, as we will not be held responsible for lost packages or damaged items when insurance has not been purchased.  For international orders, please note that I cannot insure an item for more than the declared value of the package-- insuring the package for the full amount requires declaring the full value.  



If you are not happy with your order, you have 10 days from the time you receive it to just send it back, so long as it is in its original condition, meaning you haven't trimmed it, broken it, etc.  You'll get all your money back, but not shipping and insurance, except in the following two cases:  

1) As PayPal no longer reimburses transaction fees for refunds, the fees paid to PayPal will be not be refunded to customers for returned items originally paid for through PayPal.

2) You must let me know that your are returning the item prior to sending it, and receive an acknowledgement. If you send the item back without contacting me, there will be a 20% restocking fee. I do this because I am not always around, and I need to know whether to make arrangements for its receipt— if I do not know to expect the item, it can be lost.
