YL2 Quartz, Albite, Tourmaline var. Elbaite
On one side of the specimen, at the center of which is a large, bent rubellite tourmaline. To its right, there is a deeper pink rubellite, intermixed with numerous small quartz crystals, and a second generation of tourmaline. All in all, this is a highly unusual cabinet specimen, and certainly of interest to the tourmaline collector.
I have included a few extra photographs here, but it has to be seen with the naked eye to be fully appreciated. Sawn on the reverse.
