Fluorite on Stibnite!

A selection of fluorite on stibnite specimens from a new find in China! I have seen this association on a couple occaisions in the past, including old finds from Kyrgyzstan (early 1990's) and Thailand (1987), but this very interesting combination has never been common!  These are quite distinct from those older finds however, and I'd say particularly pretty, with a special glitter-like sparkle caused by the small clear fluorites over the metallic stibnite, and the stibnite itself is especially sculptural-- many show interesting twisting along the length of the stibnite crystals!  They admittedly look jumbled in the pictures, so I have included links to videos of each of the specimens!

STFL01 Fluorite on Stibnite
Banpo Mine, Dushan County, Qiannan, Guizhou, China
8.7x 7.3x 7.9 cm
$1200

A great example of fluorite on stibnite from the Banpo Mine.  Although old discoveries exist from Kyrgyzstan, Thailand,  and this mine, this unusual combination is not frequently encountered-- it has been at least several years since the last time this type of material wasfound at Banpo.  This is a particularly good one, with may small silvery stibnite crystals covered in faintly purple to colorless fluorite.  The elongated crystal is not terminated, but thisdoesn't detract.
