A great rhodizite-londonite specimen, with a single, good sized crystal on matrix. There is a small chip on the front of the crystal, visible in the pictures. 

The first time I visited Madagascar, undamaged specimens were virtually impossible to find.  The second time there were more available, though as always the majority still suffered from damage issues, and a couple even had crystals glued on.  Of course, I checked all my purchases carefully, so there is no danger of purchasing a fake.
