DC07 Fluorite on Quartz

A bright red fluorite hemisphere on a quartz matrix.  This piece is a bit different from those above, in that it has a slightly translucent appearance and rougher texture.

The ball is intact, but as you can see, the matrix is sort of awkwardly sheared at the top left of the specimen.  In any case, finding a specimen where the fluorite itself is neither damaged nor oiled is extremely difficult, so I am posting it despite the matrix damage... and the price takes that flaw into account.
